About LumiCore Solar

Independent development. Measurable value.

LumiCore is a specialist renewable energy project developer and project management company delivering sustainable energy solutions for commercial, industrial and retail properties.

We originate, assess, structure and coordinate renewable energy projects that create measurable financial and environmental value for clients.

With a foundation in construction project management, LumiCore combines practical delivery experience with renewable energy expertise, guiding projects from concept and funding through implementation, commissioning and long-term operational support.

What we do: LumiCore acts as the central coordination point for renewable energy projects, bringing together the right EPC contractors, engineers, funders and specialist service providers, then managing delivery to protect quality, cost and programme outcomes.

Project development

A cleaner path from concept to operation

We simplify renewable energy projects by managing the steps, partners and decisions required to move from opportunity to operating asset.

1

Identify the opportunity

Site, consumption and operational context are reviewed to understand project potential.

2

Assess feasibility

Energy demand, roof or land capacity, constraints and savings potential are evaluated.

3

Structure the solution

Financial modelling, ROI analysis and PPA or funding options are developed.

4

Select partners

EPC contractors, engineers, funders and specialists are matched to the project.

5

Manage delivery

Programme, budgets, contractor coordination, construction oversight and commissioning are managed.

6

Support performance

Maintenance, monitoring, SLAs and optimisation support protect long-term value.

Why choose LumiCore

More than a solar installer

Independent project development

We are not tied to a single EPC contractor, supplier or equipment brand. Recommendations are based on the best long-term value.

End-to-end accountability

One central team coordinates the lifecycle, from feasibility and partner selection to construction, commissioning and support.

Trusted industry network

LumiCore assembles the right EPC contractors, engineers, funders, technical specialists and maintenance teams for each project.

Flexible funding solutions

We help clients evaluate capital purchase, asset finance, PPAs and alternative funding routes to improve returns and reduce risk.

Long-term maintenance support

Dedicated maintenance capability helps systems continue operating efficiently after construction is complete.

Commercial sector expertise

Our work is focused on commercial, industrial and retail properties, with solutions aligned to business operations and asset strategy.

Power Purchase Agreements

Solar with little or no upfront capital

Under a PPA, a third-party investor finances, owns, operates and maintains the solar installation. The client purchases the electricity generated at an agreed tariff, usually below the prevailing utility rate.

R

Instant staffing estimator

Estimate your monthly complex maintenance cost

Select the complex profile and number of units to receive an immediate indicative staffing and monthly service estimate.

Leave this at 0 to calculate grounds staff automatically from the maintained land area. Enter a number to override the automatic staffing recommendation.

Complex size and property type help us understand the site profile. The calculator opens at 5 000 m² (0.5 ha), but the land size can be cleared or reduced to zero. Grounds staff are calculated from the land area unless you enter a manual permanent grounds staff override. Add maintenance staff and site managers separately where required.

Estimate basis: the calculator opens at 5 000 m² (0.5 ha), but land size may be reduced to zero. Automatic grounds staffing is calculated at 2 staff per hectare and rounded up to whole people. A manual grounds staff override can be used where the site requires a different permanent team. Grounds staff pricing reduces progressively as the team grows: the 1st staff member is R 9 000/month, staff 2–3 are R 8 500 each, staff 4–7 are R 8 000 each and staff 8 onward are R 7 500 each. Other operating costs are R 1 000 per hectare. Full-time maintenance staff are R 15 000 each per month. Site managers are R 22 000 each per month.
